Unfortunately, I can't really say much about the food. Overall looks like a high end country club dining area. The view is really breathtaking from certain seats, you see the whole Boston skyline from a distance. Parking is a plus, usually plenty unless there is a big event on the property. Sad to say I'm leaving a three, but it's as objective as I could be. I would like to see your policy which clearly indicates that booths are strictly for people with reservations. There were two remaining booths which were still empty as we departed. We were finished eating by 11:16 when a party of two was seated at the second of four booths. Thank God for Emily, because we were certainly feeling slighted from Britna's rude, dismissive behavior toward us. She was fabulous in every sense of the word, her eyes danced when she smiled, she was professional, friendly, sincerely apologetic when the kitchen had a snafu. They sat for 5 minutes and asked if they could be moved to a booth, and to our shock and horror she gave them a booth.Įmily, our waitress saved the day. Meanwhile another foursome came over and was seated at the table next to us. She said no, those are for people who make reservations. The hostess seated us and we saw 4 open booths so we asked if we could sit in one. We got there right at 10 when they opened. Maybe if we need a large mac&cheese take out but other than that we will try other places. We can't say that we will come back again. Point is even though we knew that the restaurant have been having issues with quality consistency due to staffing or whatever we still gave them chance and went back but all theses extra fees which is a matter of principle to inform customers upfront is a must transparency. They charged 4$ split fee for a dish that wasn't split on 2 separate plates (we said something and they removed the fee). They ran out of food I wanted to get so I didn't order food but told waiter i will eat some of my husband's food. friends didn't want fries so they asked if salad can be substitute but the bill still charged a full entree price and plus half of salad's full price. This time we dined in, the food portion was still very generous but the taste was just bland and nothing stood out (burger, fish&chip, pastrami sandwich) However when the bill came we were charged with things which we weren't informed upfront. The last time the pasta was just drowning in wet sauce and oil. One time all of the muscles were closed and not edible but it was a take out so I couldn't go back but I also didn't think that I had to check. The beginning was great both food taste and portion served. Since 1.5 years we got take outs and dine variously times. Regret to have to write negative review of the restaurant we went to more than any others. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area. Overall it was a great meal, with great service and was priced very reasonably. Additionally one of the chefs (I'm guessing) brought our food out and had the look of someone who knew how to run a good kitchen. Service wise our waitress kept our waters filled the whole meal (simple yet often overlooked) and checked in a bunch to make sure we were taken care of. Price wise we were pleasantly surprised to see relatively cheap and reasonable prices for everything on the menu especially compared to the area. The Mac and Cheese was huge (I NEVER take food home and there was enough left over for a second meal) and definitely worth a try. The burgers were cooked perfect and actually had burger taste to them (like some guy was in the back grilling on a legit barbecue). We ordered 4 burgers and the Fat Cat Mac and Cheese. Our order was put in just as fast and the food came out surprisingly faster. We were seated quickly and the waitress (who was on her game the whole meal) came over right away with drinks and menus. We went on a Tuesday night and they weren't overly busy. Great experience and a great meal overall.
